נראה ששנת 2017 הייתה מאופיינת ב"בייבי בום" רציני שהצליח לשבור את הרשת, ותוכנת ה"אינסטגרם" בפרט. רשימת חמש הפוסטים שקיבלו הכי הרבה לייקים בשנה החולפת נחשפה, ולרוב התמונות מכנה משותף.

הרשימה שמורכבת מתמונות של ביונסה, סלינה גומז וכריסטיאנו רונאלדו מתמקדת כמעט כולה איך לא- בתינוקות והריונות. ובמקום הראשון המלכה האם, שרגילה להיות בראש הרשימות והמצעדים היא כמובן ביונסה, ששברה שיא בהכרזת ההריון שלה עם התאומים וקיבלה 11,185,436 לייקים ובכך שברה את השיא של כל הזמנים וזכתה בתואר "התמונה הכי אהובה אי פעם באינסטגרם".

אחד הדברים המדהימים זה שרק ב-24 השעות הראשונות מרגע פרסום הפוסט, קווין בי קיבלתה 8 מיליון לייקים, דבר שהוביל אותה להיות התמונה המנצחת. במקום השני, זכה הכדורגן כריסטיאנו רונלדו, בתמונה מתוקה היישר מחדר הלידה, בה הוא ובת הזוג שלו מחזיקים את התאומות שלהם שזה עתה הגיחו לעולם, בבית החולים. עבור התמונה הזו הרביעייה קיבלה 11,034,833. ואו!

ובמקום השלישי, לא הריון ולא ללידה אבל מקרה משמעותי לא פחות, הזמרת סלינה גומז שנאלצה לעבור השתלת כליה, אותה קיבלה מלא אחרת מחברתה הטובה שנמצאה מתאימה והסכימה לתת לה את האיבר החשוב שלה. התמונה הזו קיבלה 10,312,736.

במקום הרביעי והחמישי, שוב ביונסה ורונאלדו, כשהם מציגים לעולם את הבייביז החמודים שלהם.

I’m very aware some of my fans had noticed I was laying low for part of the summer and questioning why I wasn’t promoting my new music, which I was extremely proud of.
